Triple Crown of Running

Double Trouble!
Hal Winton of Lawndale, CA was the first to run both the Ascent and Marathon in the same weekend. He did so to celebrate his 50th birthday.

“It was all a mistake,” he said. “I entered myself in the marathon and a friend entered me in the ascent-only. I figured I’d just try to do both.”

And with that the “Double” was born!

Awards Presentations
Ascent: Saturday at 5pm, or as close as we can get to that time, in Memorial Park. Please be patient; it takes a long time to get all the results from the summit. Relax, hang out. Enjoy the Post-Race Party or a massage.

Marathon: Sunday at 3:00pm in Soda Springs Park.

Awards No Shows: Top 10 Overall and top 5 Masters must be present at the awards presentation to get their awards. Age-group award winners can get theirs mailed or pick them up at the office for $20.
