I just purchased a pair of MT110's and did my first run on them today over terrain similar to everything but above treeline. If you're used to the padding in the road minimus zero, you should have no problem with the MT110 (the zero's have next to no padding to begin with). If you're used to a regular road shoe, you'd probably be better off with something with a bit more padding (personal preference is sportiva c-lite).
