I'd like to be at the summit when my husband finishes the ascent race. I'll have our two young kids in tow, so would we be better off taking the cog, or driving up and riding the shuttle to the summit? Or are spectators better off just waiting in manitou? We're from TX, so there's a possibility that altitude may affect the kiddos.
