It depends on what your goal is in the Ascent. If you want to have fun and enjoy the sights and experience the atmosphere of the Incline and Ascent, go ahead, knock yourself out and have fun on the Incline. If, on the other hand, you have any desire to post a quality performance for your level of fitness, stay off the Incline!!! It may not be THAT taxing, but it IS taxing and WILL take the edge off of your Ascent on Saturday, guaranteed. It likely won't cause a DNF for you, but will destroy the chance for your "BEST" performance. Enjoy either way!
