Been through this discussion in past years on this board. I have had headaches and dizziness at altitude so have tried several alternatives to avoid symptoms. In my experience the acetazolamide was too dehydrating and seemed to inhibit my performance. But it does work well to prevent altitude sickness. As for TUMS (Not Rolaids which have magnesium not calcium), there is little data. Won't hurt, might help. Ginko studies have been mixed. For my money, I would go with Cialis. Minimal side effects. Not banned by WADA. Good science to support its use. Now part of recommended regimen for treating altitude sickness.
