I am a much slower runner than you and I will finish in the early afternoon. I will go with only shorts and a tech shirt, IF the weather stays as forecast. I will double check the hr-by-hr forecast the night before and race morning before I leave. I specifically look for the time of the last update (upper right corner) to ensure it's valid.
I will put a set of warm dry clothes including a good size towel in the sweat check bag in case I end up wet and shivering as I cross the finish line. The sweat check bags this year are about an inch narrower and an inch shorter than the gatorade bag from previous years and they do not have a draw string which further reduces their size. When I asked a race volunteer about that, she said "Don't Worry," we will tape the bag shut. If it is cold in the morning I may wear my sweat check clothes and stuff them in the bag just before race time. Good Luck Everybody

Based on the warm, clear weather forecast for tomorrow, just wondering if anyone was considering forgoing a jacket for the Ascent.
I'm hoping to finish in the 3:30 range...Am I crazy to think about not carrying one? Would definitely pack one in sweat check for the summit though.
