PPA or PPM is one of those race where it may take one or two attempts to learn how to do it especially for us flatlanders. My GF missed the PPM AFrame cutoff 2 years ago and this year she finished; Go Andy! Lesson learned; go out at least a week in advance and acclimate; this made a huge difference for the both of us. Another trick from my Tri days is consume a can of chicken noodle soup 2 hours before the race, it's loaded with salt. See ya'll in 2 years!

What a great attitude. I wish the best in your next attempt. You WILL do it!
I ran past a lady below Barr Camp who got turned back at A-Frame. I actually slowed down to talk to her...she too had a great attitude and said she'll get it next time. It was a lesson for her and her family (all from Missouri) that sometimes you don't always reach your goal, but you pick yourself back up and try again. She's coming back...and I just know she'll make it next time as well.
