It was a a bit tight at the trailhead and unfortunately you do have those runners who are rude. I saw several try and push past almost knocking some people down. Maybe at least one more wave would help, but there will always be those idiots to deal with.
I thought the food was plentiful. Most runners already have their "stash" on them, so the food at the stations is a nice bonus. I was actually surprised there was food at the finish and very happy to get my plate :-)
My only "tiny gripe" would be that the timing mat at A-Frame wasn't until after the aid station. You had a false sense of "rest" once you reached the station, then told to hurry up to get to the timing mat. But, this is not a big deal!
I think the organizers and volunteers did an outstanding job!! The cost for this race is very minimal compared to others I've done, but the perks were awesome :-)
