I have to disagree with Mike regarding the downhill of the PPM. I've run the PPM several times, and my second fastest downhill time ever was the first time I doubled. I was so excited for the downhill on the second day, after two days of running uphill. I found the downhill to be a refreshing change and enjoyed every second of it! Just hydrate and get some food in you as soon as you finish the PPA and get off the mountain as quick as you can after the PPA, and you'll be ready to go for the PPM. By the way, I went for my ascent time during the PPA, and then relaxed and went with how my body felt on the ascent portion of the PPM the seond day, and was only about 11 minutes slower to the top on day 2, but like I said, I crushed it on the way down!
