43 at summit at 11:15am today.
I'll be wearing a bike jersey for the pockets, and have a lightweight jacket around my waist, just in case.
The only forecast that matters is the LATEST forecast. But right now it looks great.
55 for a low in Manitou will mean the rising warm air in the W's may actually feel just a little too warm.
Low 52 and High of 68, with 10% chance of rain at Barr Camp is perfect.
And Manitou's mostly sunny, but high of only 79... Wow! Considering the deluges we've had, or how tough 90s would make it, it's a beautiful thing!
Do keep checking though.
Here's near summit, Elev. 13,750ft
Here's about treeline, Elev. 11,453ft
Best of Luck!

I'm trying to figure out how to style it up on course for the marathon. Or rather, not freeze or oversweat. It *looks* to this newb like we'll start about 50 degrees, and it'll be low 40s up top, and if I make the turn and head down in good shape, it'll gradually get warmer until I finish about 80 degrees. Does that sound about right? Sounds like T-shirt weather for me, with a space blanket or garbage bag in the pocket in case of bad weather or stoppage.
