I have been wearing the Nike Zoom Explosion Road for several years for a few reasons. They are very light, flexible, and CHEAP - about $60. Nike does not make them anymore, but replaced them with the Zoom Forever - exactly the same shoe - new name. Can't find these anywhere now either. I am looking for a similar shoe that would be cheap that can be used when most of my miles are done on MN roads. I run up to 70 or 80 miles a week on a big week. I do not need support or much cushioning and am looking for a simple shoe that doesn't cost too much. Nike would be preferred, but not if another shoe was good enough. I have looked at a lot of minimalist info out there, but wonder if anyone here has some suggestions??? Any help would be appreciated. My current shoes don't have a lot of time left in them!
