Short answer: Try and work your way up to 90. (I'm 6'4" and aim for 88 -> 92) You do this by taking shorter steps. When making the change, I found this easiest to do on a treadmill with a fixed speed. (note that until you calibrate the foot pod, ignore the speed that the 305 is reporting and just focus on the cadence) Long Answer: Welcome to the shark infested waters that is the running technique discussion :~) The easiest way to bump your cadence up is to switch to a midfoot (chi) or forefoot (pose) running technique or some variant thereof. (warning: if you go this route drastically cut your volume for at least 3-4 months until your system adapts to the new style or else you will be in a world of hurt). I'll leave the merits of the various techniques for another post :-) In the mean time, see the following: https://www.beginnertriathlete.com/cms/Article-detail.asp?Articleid=994&vote=8 http://www.rungearrun.com/resources/cadence.php
