If you weren't walking so "drunk" you would have noticed there were LOTS of folks like that,,,, this is a tough race and above 12,000 feet is really tough,,, especially with no altitude training. Less oxygen and not enough hydration = drunk-like for some--others seem to just go on with no problem. Training,,,, no what you can do, but one thing is for sure,,,, hydrate A LOT! And pace yourself early,,, go out too fast, and you will be "drunk" at the top. Speaking from experience--- had to literally crawl the last 1/4 mile once,,,, not good!
