They think they will have it under control by July 16. So far they have done a great job keeping it off the Peak and it has been threatened. In response to: Just curious, but does anyone think that the present wildfire may threaten the occurence of the race?? Wondering what those who make their home in the area have to say about it. The pictures I've seen look absolutely amazing - I've never seen a fire that large, wether it be in real life or footage.
