Hey CJ, i am a long time endurance athlete, peak veteran, and metabolic/run/cycle coach. I have had the same thing since the fires, even ran a 50mile race out of the area, but my breathing was horrible, and ran the worst race of my life. I feel sluggish and have unfortunately taken way too much time off of my training because of it. I have trying to ride more than run thinking it may be a little easier, but it is the same. I have had some tests run to test my cortisol, for overtraining, my 6 point labs, and my cardio metabolic test and all were good or excellent, although my hr zones have widened a little bit. I live in manitou and for me I think it was the terrible air quality, and the mental stress of dealing with such a horrific situation. It seems this season was just not meant to be a good one for me. Best of luck to you.
