Does anyone have any advice on how to handle hills as you begin to taper for PPM? I'm a PPM rookie, and I did a hard 18 hill run this weekend. The coming 2 weekends I have a 14 and a 10 miler planned. Would anyone advise to laying off the hills during these? I still plan on keeping hills in my weekday runs (current 3/week, with 4 miles at 11-14%, followed by 2-4 miles of flat but fast, just a little slower than 1/2 marathon race pace).
Any tips from the seasoned veterans?
