Only way you are going to get to 10,000 feet "near" Manitou is Pikes Peak,,, so, it's one of three choices,,, hike barr trail and camp anywhere, have someone drive you up Pikes Peak Highway,,, could drop you off at at the resiviors, 6 miles up, about 10,000 feet or Elk Cove about 11,500ish,,, or ride the COG train one way up, get off and camp at Mt, View trail about 10,000 feet.
