The 4 miles to summit mile marker was definitely in a different place from previous years. That's where I had to turn round in 2008, and it was at the start of the switchbacks going up to A-Frame. This year it was halfway between the Bottomless Pit cutoff and that point. It felt like all the mile markers below tree line were too near Manitou.
