Thank you 2MTM: "I believe yield means get out of the downhill runner's way, but if there is room for both the uphill and downhill runners to pass by each other, than by all means keep moving!" Being an older, slower, semi-flatlander, I used to get frustrated by uphill runners stopping well in advance of the downhillers when there was room to pass - BUT I know some get very concerned that they aren't following the rules of yielding. Now, I keep moving if there is room - BUT was second guessing - just maybe - I was required stop.
