I confirmed with our printer that this year’s certificate was printed on the same paper as in the past 2 years. However, I want to thank you for your comments. They have been the primary reason for me finalizing the decision to do away with the PPM providing any form of Doubler recognition starting next year. The PPM organization does not support the Doubler participation as a sanctioned event, never has. The expense of doing so unfairly comes out of entry fees from all the runners - you do not pay extra for this. The PPA and PPM runners do not receive a certificate. Providing Doubler recognition is additional work and time that can be spent on more important things that benefit all the runners.
