Thanks Bob! I just know I'm going to get to the top of the mountain before the cut off and say to myself "I had nothing to worry about!" haha I'll be 40 on race day and weigh about 115-120 (so not too out of shape). I've ran one full marathon (flat), many halfs (flat), and a few trail races (not flat but don't compare to PP). The last trail run I did was a 30k night time trail run 2 weeks ago. Started at 7 pm with temps about 98 degrees and high humidity (in Texas). Once it got dark, my friends and I walked almost entirely. So, we did 18.6 miles in under 7 hours. So, surely I can do 13 and some change in 6:30??? It's the "unknown" of that altitude that scares me I guess. But, I'm staying positive and I'm taking everyone's advice and training on the treadmill at an incline, training on trails and then once I get there staying hydrated and taking TUMS. Thanks for the input!
