I pack an energy bar (just in case), even though I rarely eat it. Additionally, I always pack (and use) Enduralytes, Gels, and Water/Gatorade bottles (refill at all aid stations). I wear a Nathan belt that holds all of these items. I find that for the most part I don't really like eating the food at the aid stations. When I do, I eat a few grapes, goldfish crackers, and occasionally the skittles or M&Ms. I too have a hard time chewing and eating during the PPM. My recommendation is to bring your own gels if that's what you are used to eating (and what you think you can stomach) during races. In years past I remember some gels at Barr Camp, but I don't recall them always having them (this will be my 8th PPM). Good luck and have a great race!
