The congo line is not a bad situation to be in. You will likely be conserving energy as you walk most of the Ws. The main reason there is a conga line is because a bunch of people who are going to run 4+ hour Ascent take off like they are going to run a 2:40 Ascent so they can "beat the conga line." Then they get the hell beat out of them in the Ws (which is very steep) and thus begins the conga line. Then they completely blow up at the top (where there is plenty of room to pass them as they puke, cramp up and basically perform the death march). This is a long race in terms of miles and time. Don't peg your heart rate in the first mile and die the rest of the way. Run an even effort where you're slower on the steep stuff and speed up on the less steep, flat or downhill stuff. You'll be glad you did.
