Thanks to many others, I can huff huff huff from town to the top WiTHOUT a heavy backpack but WITH many other people. Thanks very much to the race organizers, fire & rescue, National Forest Service, first aid, volunteers including those who solve the logistical challenges of making water (etc) available on this course and terrain, and sponsors.
