Strictly logistics. It takes a ton of volunteers to run the Finish on Saturday and the Turnaround on Sunday. There are usually a few on Sunday that want to go all the way to the top. I believe they will still let you do that if you choose. Not sure if that might screw up the chip timing though. You must cross the Cog Rail tracks to get to the top. Use great care! Have a great run!
