next aid station after A-Frame is the Cirque... about 1-1/2 miles or so up... might be some SAR folks just on the trail but you may have to make your own safety decision and perhaps turn yourself back. Kind of a toss up depending on how far above treeline your are. After your past the halfway point above treeline, you're committed... choice of trying to find shelter under a rock or get moving faster tot he top. Race officials were great about watching the weather a couple years back when they turned folks aroue,,, but lots still got caught in the lightening... weather on the Peak can change very fast.
