Mile Markers

While the markers may have been off, note that your GPS watch is also going to typically short change the distance. It will tend to cut every sharp switchback by 20ft or so. That said, I never use the mile markers. The landmarks on Matt's pace calculator are a lot easier to locate and generally do not move from year to year. :-)
