I too was very disappointing to see that. I'm sure all of us have accidentally dropped something along the way at one time or another, but this was clearly a case of people purposely disposing of trash. This irresponsible behavior puts extra work on the volunteers to clean up, and could someday jeopardize the races permit with the forest service. Come on folks, grow up, take care of the beautiful trails we are so lucky to run on, and carry your trash to the next aid station.
