I hear ya...I ran the Ascent, encountered my emotional low point around A-Frame (lasted about a mile or so), then by the finish line I was ecstatic and already looking forward to running the race again next year. Then, the following morning, as I watched the PPM'ers finish, I thought, heck, why not just go big and do the whole marathon next year? :) We runners are a strange bunch.
