I don't care what you or any one else think or say, me and other men saw a female cutting the course on purpose and I don't live in the area, I have only been there and run the mountain 3 times and any body coming down and sees a line of guys coming up can not miss the turn. If you are by yourself coming down and there is no one else around is possible to miss a switch back, but on race day with a line of people coming up no way you are going miss it. Course don't need marking flowers or flags, you can tell where the trail is, that switch back could easily saved her a couple minutes.
