Especially those El Paso County EMTs on the Course that encouraged me and others every chance they had, if not for the one's on the 15 golden stairs, I wouldn't have made the cut off, and then got in under the 10 hour mark....HOOAH!!! In response to: Thank you everyone for making this race what it is! Thank you to all the volunteers, especially on the race course, above tree line. This was my first Pikes Peak and my first time in high altitude. I live in Texas. I hated it on the way up but LOVE the accomplishment! I couldn't have done it without all the race support. Thank you!!
