I just wanted to let the race staff know how much I appreciate the Doubler shirt and certificate. The shirt arrived on Christmas Eve and I promptly put it under the tree so I could open it on Christmas morning. It's perfect - soft, high quality cotton and a classy, authentic Pikes Peak design. But most importantly, I would like to say thank you for doing such an exceptional job organizing the best race in the world. In the end, to me, it's not about whether I like the finisher shirt, the medal, the post race food, or any of the other stuff....it's about the sense of accomplishment, camaraderie among runners and appreciation for all of the Manitou Springs community, race staff, and volunteers who work so incredibly hard to make it a safe and VERY FUN race. And last but definitely not least, I love being a part of the Peak Busters who are some of the most talented and inspirational women I know. Merry Christmas to all and many wishes for good health and many enjoyable miles in 2013. Happy running, friends.
