Definitely start scaling back on distance. Most folks I train or talk with do their longest run 2-3 weeks before race day, then start tapering. On the other hand, getting to altitude not long before race day is great -- do as much of that as possible. I even try to drive to the top of Pikes some evening during the week before the race, do something short like a mile down Barr then back up, and then just sit in the cafeteria for a bit.
