Status - 8/6/2008: As both races are still above their entry limits, even after an e-mail was sent to all registered runners asking if they were running or not, we will not be taking any more runners off of the 2008 Wait Lists. Also, there is no system in place to just show up and replace a No Show on race day.
Wait List Overview:
Being on a Wait List does not guarantee that you will get into the race. The lists are used depending on how many fail the qualifications check,
how many prior year overall/age-group runners claim their award spots, the number of competitive spots awarded and if there seems to be a higher
than expected number of “No Shows.”
While we will try to contact you if you are selected to move off a Wait List, you are responsible for monitoring this page for movement.

Wait List Status:
On 4/3 this list was closed and Ascent Wave 2 registration was re-opened. This was done to eliminate the need of getting on
the Wait List only to get right back off. The 109 people on the list were offered a chance to move into the Ascent Wave 2.
The 9 left on the list did not send in their payment as requested. Wave 2 of the Ascent filled on 5/5 and as such this Wait
List is no longer in use.
